Accreditation

We meet all the requirements to maintain our Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Accreditation and HACCP Accreditation. These accreditations are available for download by clicking on the associated link.

Work Safety and Health

Heavy Vehicle drivers working at GJ Freight comply with the Work Safety and Health Act 2020, the Work Safety and Health Regulations and the act in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.

All drivers adhere to company policy for fatigue management and are required to document daily their hours of work and rest to ensure the workforce is operating within safe practice guidelines. All staff follow correct procedures for identification, risk assessment and risk control of manual handling hazards. We have a strict zero tolerance to Drugs and Alcohol policy. Drivers hold a current fork lift license, white card and various other individual accreditations.

GJ Freight Employees and the Wider Community

GJ Freight personnel consists of management, shed managers and workers, office staff, permanent and contract truck drivers and casual employees.

Where possible we provide employment for local residents and support local businesses. We also support local youth through work experience and traineeship opportunities.

GJ Freight are proud sponsors of several sporting clubs throughout the town of Donnybrook and South West including Donnybrook Football Club, Bunbury Speedway and the Donnybrook Country Club. We regularly sponsor local events.

GJ Freight have two cars involved in WesCarpade organised by Camp Quality. This is a motoring event that involves fundraising and visiting schools to support children and families living with cancer throughout Australia.
